New Folder Church

Well we started a new church in Salem, OH. Beloit, OH actually is where we are meeting but with a mind toward being closer to Salem at some point.

Tax Refund

Well I am happy that it is tax refund time again. I typically don't like to live in such a way that I am desperately awaiting my refund but this is one of those years with a lot of car breakdowns and such that I am "desperately" awaiting the refund. On the other hand I am very thankful to God for His care over us this year and providing for all our needs at exactly the right time! It humbles me to see it happen and makes me want to pray even more because I wonder what else God could do for me if I was even more in tune with His Spirit.

Well it is very late at night so I thought it time to update the poor lonely blog.  I actually have been to sleep and then was awaken by my mp3 player still playing in my ears!  Shortly thereafter my 3 year old came into our room and informed us that her bed was all wet!!  So I took her to the bathroom and then layered towels on her bed so it would no longer feel wet.  Then I wasn't tired so I jumped on the computer and here I am.

Some Updates on New Years Day!

Well I guess I need to update this poor lonely blog.
First of all we had a wonderful Christmas. We spent some time with Jen's family and with my family and had a great time with both.
Second I just started a new job at Aaron's Sales and Leasing in E. Liverpool, OH. I had been looking for a new job for quite some time but just wasn't finding something that was that much better than what I had or something that really suited me. One of my friends started working for Aaron's though and they called me and asked me to apply so I thought what the hey and decided to take the job. I Love it now. It is just right for me and I think I will get a lot of experience in sales and management at this job. Aaron's sells and leases living room and bedroom furniture, computers, tvs, washers and dryers, and some electronics such as video cameras, digital cameras, and Xboxes. I am an MT(Manager Trainee) right now so I do a little bit of everything. Mostly I work in the Customer Accounts Management department which involves calling people on the phone to remind them of their payments and going on Field Visits to encourage customers who are behind on their Renewals to renew and get caught up. I also am on the sales floor at times helping customers choose furniture, computers, tvs, etc.
Third my oldest daughter, Shanna won her school's first grade spelling bee and so now she gets to go to a district spelling bee on the 26th of January. Jen and I are very excited about that and very proud of her!! I am taking a day off work so I can go and watch!
Well, that is about all I have for right now.
Oh yeah, the Buckeyes are going to play for the national championship on Monday the 7th!!! GO BUCKEYES!!!

Late at Night

I don't know why I always post late at night? It seems like thats the only time I remember I have a blog! Anyway life is good. I just watched the movie Premonition and it is a good reminder of what is important in life. A priest in the movie said, "It is never too late to fix or change what is wrong in your life." That is not an exact quote but is the point he was making. I really like that concept and was thinking about my life and wondering what I should change so that I can be a better husband and father and leader.

Michael Vick

Am I the only one who is sick and tired of hearing what is going on with Vick?? I am sure that most of you who are not into sports are tired of it but what about you guys that do like sports? Do you really want to hear about Vick in every single sportscenter? I DON'T!! I like sports alot but it just seems like anymore the sports media is more interested in stirring up volatile issues and talking about court cases than they are with talking about real sports stories.

Sorry people! I forgot I have a blog cause I have never had one before. I will try to update you all with my brainiac thoughts sometime tomorrow.

Mowers Needed!

I really need a mower so I can mow my lawn.

Sorry I didn't get to post anymore details about AYC and the recovery therefrom (is that a word?) but I will try to get to it again tomorrow night.

AYC recovery

Well it is Saturday after AYC and I am "recovering" from vacation! Seems like you shouldn't have to recover from vacation but AYC is a bit different from most vacations.
